ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS FOR AA SAILOR INDIAN NAVY

3. Eligibility Criteria: Online applications are invited from unmarried male candidates for enrolment as sailors for Artificer Apprentice (AA) – Feb 2020 batch.

Age Limit for AA Sailor Indian Navy 8/2020 Batch: Candidates should born between 01-08-2000 to 31-07-2003 (Both dates inclusive).

4. Education Qualification: The candidates who are willing to apply should have in 10+2/Intermediate examination with 60% or more marks in aggregate with  Physics  & Maths  and at least with  anyone subject i.e.  Chemistry or Biology or Computer science for Indian Navy AA  Sailor Recruitment.

शैक्षणिक योग्यताएं:- आर्टिफिशर अप्रैंटिस भर्ती के लिए आवेदक को 10+2 परीक्षा, गणित और भौतिकी विषय के पास होने के साथ एवं इन विषयों में से एक विषय रसायन विज्ञान या जीव विज्ञान या कंप्यूटर साइंस के सहित 60 प्रतिशत अंकों के साथ भारत में किसी भी स्कूली शिक्षा बोर्ड द्वारा उत्तीर्ण की हो, जो कि मानव संसाधन विकास मंत्रालय द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त हो।

5. Applicability Boys/Girls: Only Male candidates are eligible for this post. Female Candidates can’t apply for Indian Navy for AA Sailor post. आर्टिफिशर अप्रैंटिस भर्ती के लिए केवल पुरुष उम्मीदवार ही पात्र होंगे, महिला उम्मीदवार के लिए यह पोस्ट लागू नहीं है।

6. Marital Status: Only Unmarried male candidates can apply for AA Sailor Post. Any married candidate will be disqualified. वैवाहिक स्थिति: नौसैनिक भर्ती के लिए आवेदक को अविवाहित होना आवश्यक है।

PAY AND ALLOWANCES ARTIFICER APPRENTICE (AA) SAILOR

7. Pay & Allowances AA Sailor: During the initial training period, a stipend of Rs. 14,600/- per month will be admissible. On successful completion of initial training, they will be placed in Level 3 of the Defence Pay Matrix (Rs 21,700/- to Rs 69,100). In addition, they will be paid Military Service Pay Rs 5200/- plus ‘X’ Group Pay Rs 6200/- per month plus DA and other allowances as applicable.

नौसैनक के वेतन और भत्ते:- प्रारंभिक प्रशिक्षण अवधि के दौरान, भर्ती होने पर नौसैनिकों को स्टाईपन के रूप में 14600/-रूपये प्रतिमाह देय होगा। प्रशिक्षण पूरा होने के बाद, इनको डिफेन्स वेतन मैट्रिक्स के लेवल 3 (21700/-रूपये से 69100/- रूपये) में रखा जायेगा। इसके आलावा, 5200/-रूपये प्रतिमाह सैनिक सेवा भत्ता एवं एक्स ग्रुप वेतन 6200/-रूपये के साथ महंगाई भत्ता (जैसे लागू होगा) के साथ जोड़ कर दिया जायेगा।

8. Promotion: Promotion prospects for AA Sailor in Indian Navy exist up to the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer-I, i.e. Level 8 of the Defence Pay Matrix Rs 47,000/- to Rs 1,51,100/- plus Military Service Pay Rs 5200/- plus ‘X’ Group Pay Rs 6200/- per month plus DA and other allowances as applicable. Opportunities for promotion to commissioned officer also exist for those who perform well and qualify the prescribed examinations.

पदोन्नति:- आर्टिफिशर अप्रैंटिस को मास्टर चीफ पेटी अफसर-। के रैंक तक पदोन्नति के अवसर हैं। जिसमें वेतन स्केल डिफेन्स मैट्रिक्स के लेवल 8 (47600/-रूपये से 1, 51, 100/-रूपये) देय होगा साथ हीं 5200/-रूपये प्रतिमाह सैनिक सेवा भत्ता एवं एक्स ग्रुप वेतन 6200/-रूपये को भत्ता (जैसे लागू होगा) के साथ जोड़ कर दिया जायेगा। रिकार्ड श्रेष्ठ होने तथा निर्धारित परीक्षाएं उत्तीर्ण कर लेने पर कमीशंड अधिकारी के पद तक पदोन्नति के अवसर भी हैं।

9. Perquisites/Facilities AA Sailor Indian Navy

(a) During the entire period of training and thereafter, AA sailors are given books, reading material, uniforms, food and accommodation etc. free of cost.

प्रशिक्षण की सम्पूर्ण अवधि के दौरान और उसके बाद नौसैनिकों को पुस्तकें, पठन सामग्रियां, वर्दी, खाना औरआ वास इत्यादि निःशुल्क दिया जाएगा।

(b) Facilities For Sailor: Sailors Artificer Apprentice are entitled to medical treatment, Leave Travel Concessions for self and dependents, Group Housing Benefits and other privileges. Sailors are also entitled to Annual and Casual Leave, Children Education and House Rent Allowances. Post retirement benefits include pension, gratuity and Leave encashment. All perquisites are extended as per service conditions and their eligibility/admissibility is regulated as per Government orders in force and amended from time to time.

नौसैनिक के लिए सुबिधायें: नौसैनिक स्वयं और आश्रितों के लिए चिकित्सा सुविधा और छुट्टी यात्रा रियायत, समूह आवास लाभ एवं अन्य सुविधाओं के हकदार होंगे। नौसैनिकों को वार्षिक और आकस्मिक अवकाश, बच्चों की शिक्षा और मकान किराय भत्ता भी दिया जाएगा। सेवानिवृत्ति लाभों में पेंशन, ग्रैच्यूटी और छुट्टी के बदले नकद भुगतान शामिल है। सभी अनुलब्धियां सेवा शर्तों के अनुसार दी जाएगी और उनकी पात्रता/ग्राहयता को मौजूदा और समय-समय पर संशोधित सरकारी आदेशों के अनुसार विनियमित किया जाएगा।

10. Insurance Cover: Insurance cover (on contribution) of Rs. 41 lakhs for submariners and Rs. 37.50 lakhs for other sailors is applicable.

सुरक्षा बीमा:- सुरक्षा बीमा (योगदान पर) 41  लाख रूपये पनडुब्बी नौसैनिक और 37.50  लाख रुपए दूसरे नौसैनिकों के लिए लागू है।

11. Selection Criteria: Selection of recruits for Indian Navy AA Sailor is based on the order of merit on their performance in Examination, qualifying Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in Medical Examinations.

12. Computer Based Exam: The question paper for AA Sailor Exam will be CBT (Computer Based Test) of 100 questions for 100 marks. Details of AA Exam are as under:-

कंप्यूटर आधारित परीक्षा: आर्टिफिशर अप्रैंटिस नौसैनिक लिखित परीक्षा के लिए प्रश्न-पत्र कंप्यूटर आधारित होगा, जिसमें कुल 100 प्रश्न होंगे, प्रत्येक प्रश्न का 01 अंक होगा।

•  The Question Paper for AA Sailor will be bilingual (Hindi & English) and objective type.
• प्रश्न-पत्र द्विभाषी (हिंदी और अंग्रेजी) और वस्तुनिष्ठ प्रकार का होगा।

• The Question Paper for AA Sailor will comprise of four sections i.e. English, Science, Mathematics and General
  Knowledge.
• आर्टिफिशर अप्रैंटिस नौसैनिक लिखित परीक्षा के लिए प्रश्न-पत्र में चार खंड होंगे अर्थात अंग्रेजी, विज्ञान, गणित और सामान्य ज्ञान।

• Duration of examination for Indian Navy AA Sailor will be one hour. प्रश्न-पत्र की अवधि एक घंटे होगी।

• The candidates of AA Sailor are required to pass in all sections and in aggregate.
• अभ्यर्थियों को सभी खंडों में तथा सम्पूर्ण रूप से उत्तीर्ण होना आवश्यक है।

• Minus Marking for Wrong Answer. AA candidates should note that there will be penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the question paper. There are four alternatives for the answer to every question. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one fourth (0.25) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.
• गलत उत्तर के लिए माइनस मार्किंग: आर्टिफिशर अप्रैंटिस भर्ती उम्मीदवारों को ध्यान रखना होगा कि प्रश्न-पत्र में उम्मीदवार द्वारा चिन्हित गलत उत्तर के लिए जुर्माना (नकारात्मक अंकन) होगा। प्रत्येक प्रश्न के उत्तर के लिए चार विकल्प होंगे। प्रत्येक प्रश्न जिसके लिए उम्मीदवार द्वारा गलत जवाब दिया जाएगा, उस प्रश्न के अंक का एक चौथाई (0.25) अंक जुर्माना के रूप में काटा जाएगा।

PHYSICAL FITNESS TEST(PFT) AA SAILOR शारीरिक स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण

13. PFT:

• Qualifying in Physical Fitness Test is mandatory for selection of AA Sailor.
• आर्टिफिशर अप्रैंटिस नौसैनिक चयन के लिए शारीरिक स्वस्थता जाँच में उत्त्तीर्ण होना अनिवार्य है।

• PFT for Artificer Apprentice Sailor will consist of 1.6 Km run to be completed in 7 minutes, 20 squat ups (Uthak Baithak) and 10 Pushups. Candidates undergoing PFT will do so at their own risk.
• शारीरिक स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण (पी.एफ.टी.) में  7 मिनट में 1.6  कि.मी. की दौड़, 20 उठक-बैठक और 10 दंड-बैठक शामिल हैं। अभ्यार्थी पी.एफ.टी. में अपने जोखिम पर ऐसा करेंगे।

Note: For Recruitment in Indian Navy as AA Sailor, proficiency in sports, swimming and extra-curricular activities is desirable, भारतीय नौसेना में AA नौसैनिक की भर्ती के लिए खेल में प्रवीणता, तैराकी एवं अन्य गतिविधियों प्रवीणता प्राप्त आवेदकों को वारीयता नियमानुसार वांछित होगी।

MEDICAL TEST AA SAILOR INDIAN NAVY

14.  Indian Navy AA Sailor Medical Standards will be as under:-

• Medical examination for Indian Navy AA Sailor will be conducted by authorised military doctors as per medical standard prescribed in current regulations applicable to sailors on entry.
• भारतीय नौसेना में AA नौसैनिक की भर्ती के लिए चिकित्सीय जाँच प्राधिकृत सैन्य चिकित्सकों द्वारा प्रवेश लेने वाले नौसैनिकों पर लागू वर्तमान नियमावली में निर्धारित चिकित्सा मानक के अनुसार की जाएगी।

• Physical Standard for AA Sailor: Minimum height 157 cms. Weight and Chest should be proportionate. Minimum chest expansion of 5 cms.
• न्यूनतम कद 157  सें.मी. वजन और छाती को समानुपातिक होना चाहिए। न्यूनतम 5. सें.मी. छाती फुलानी होगी।

• The candidate must be in good physical and mental health, free from any defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of duties both ashore and afloat under peace as well as war conditions as per Navy Order (Special) 01/2008. • आर्टिफिशर अप्रैंटिस सेलर भर्ती के लिए नौसेना आदेश (विशेष) 01/2008 के अनुसार अभ्यर्थी मानसिक और शारीरिक स्वस्थ, किसी ऐसी बीमारी/अपंगता से मुक्त जिससे, शांति और युद्ध में ड्यूटी के सफल निष्पादन पर प्रभाव पड़ता है। नौसेना आदेश (विशेष) का सार आधिकारिक भर्ती वेबसाइट www.joinindiannavy.gov.in पर उपलब्ध है।

• Initial Medical Examination for recruitment will be considered only “Provisionally fit subject to
  fitness in the final medical examination”. Final Medical Examination of all selected candidates will be done
  at INS Chilka. Candidates who are NOT found medically fit in the final medical examination at INS Chilka will
  NOT be enrolled for training. No “Appeal” is permitted for review after the final enrolment medical examination at INS Chilka.
• आर्टिफिशर अप्रैंटिस सेलर भर्ती के लिए प्रारंभिक चिकित्सा जाँच अस्थायी होगी। सभी चयनित अभ्यार्थियों की अंतिम चिकित्सा परीक्षा भा. नौ. पो. चिल्का में होगी। जो अभ्यार्थी भा. नौ. पो. चिल्का की अंतिम चिकित्सा परीक्षा में आयोग्य होंगे उन्हें सलाह दी जाएगी कि वो अपनी इच्छा से भा. नौ. ह. पो. कल्याणी, विशाखापट्नम में 21 दिनों के भीतर अपील कर सकते है।
• Note:-Candidates are advised to get their ears cleaned for wax, and tartar removed from teeth prior to examination.

नोटः- अभ्यर्थियों को सलाह दी जाती है कि  परीक्षा से पहले अपने कानों की वैक्स और दांतों पर से टार्टर साफ़ करके आएं।

15. Visual Standards for AA Sailor – द्रष्टि मानक

16. Tattoos. Permanent body tattoos are only permitted on inner face of forearms i.e from inside of elbow to the wrist and on the reversed side of palm/ back (dorsal) side of hand. Permanent body tattoos on any other part of the body is not acceptable and candidate will be barred from recruitment.

स्थायी टैटू (गोदना): स्थायी टैटू केवल कुहनी से नीचे अंदर की तरफ होने चिहिए जैसे कुहनी से मुटठी तक अंदर की तरफ और हथेली के पीछे। शरीर के किसी अन्य भाग पर स्थायी टैटू स्वीकार्य नहीं है और आवेदक को भर्ती में शामिल नहीं किया जायेगा।

INDIAN NAVY AA SAILOR TRAINING 

18. AA Sailor Training. The training for the course will commence in Feb 2020, with 09 weeks Basic Training at INS Chilka followed by Professional training in the allotted trade in various Naval Training Establishments. Branch / Trade will be allocated as per the requirement of Indian Navy Service.

प्रशिक्षण:- आर्टिफिशर अप्रैंटिस सेलर प्रशिक्षण पाठ्यक्रम के लिए प्रशिक्षण फरवरी 2020  से प्रारंभ होगा। जिसमें 09  सप्ताह का बेसिक प्रशिक्षण भा. नौ. पो. चिल्का में होगा। जिसके बाद आवंटित ट्रेड में व्यावसायिक प्रशिक्षण विभिन्न नौसेना प्रशिक्षण स्थापनाओं में होगा। नौसेना की आवश्यकतानुसार ब्रांच/ट्रेड आवंटित किया जायेगा।

19. Discharge as Unsuitable: Sailors are liable to be discharged as “UNSUITABLE” due to unsatisfactory performance at any time during the training.

अनुपयुक्त होने पर निकाला जाना:- नौसैनिकों को प्रशिक्षण के दौरान किसी भी समय असंतोषजनक कार्य के कारण अनुपयुक्त करार देकर निकाला जा सकता है।

20. Initial Engagement for AA Sailor: The initial engagement is subject to successful completion of training. The initial engagement is for a period of 20 years.

प्रारंभिक नियुक्ति:- आर्टिफिशर अप्रैंटिस सेलर की प्रारंभिक नियुक्ति प्रशिक्षण सफलतापूर्वक पूरा करने पर निर्भर करेगी। प्रारंम्भिक नियुक्ति 20 वर्ष की है।

21. Admit Card AA: Call up Letters cum Admit Card of AA Sailor Candidates for online examination indicating date, time and place, which are scheduled during Oct 2020, would be required to be downloaded from the official website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in tentatively by end Jan 2020. Call up Letter cum Admit Card will not be sent by post.

आर्टिफिशर अप्रैंटिस प्रवेश पत्र: ऑनलाइन परीक्षा के बुलावा पत्र जिसमें परीक्षा का स्थान, तिथि और समय अंकित होगा, को आधिकारिक भर्ती वेबसाइट से सम्भवत: Jan 2020 के अंत तक डाउनलोड कर सकते है। काल-अप-लेटर कम एडमिट कार्ड डाक द्वारा नहीं भेजे जायेंगे।

22. Merit List AA Sailor Test: A merit list will be published for Artificer Apprentice candidates who have passed in PFT and Initial Medical Examination depending upon vacancies. This select list will be available on website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in. All selected candidates will be called to INS Chilka for Final Medical Examination. The selection of a candidate will stand cancelled and he will have no claim for enrollment in the Indian Navy in case the candidate fails to report on the date and time mentioned in call letter for final enrollment medical examination at INS Chilka. However, enrolment will be subject to Fitness in Final Medical Examination at INS Chilka. Call letter for Final Medical Examination at INS Chilka will be uploaded only on the registered ‘E-mail’ ID of the selected candidates and will not be sent by post.

चयन सूची:  आर्टिफिशर अप्रैंटिस भर्ती के लिए सभी तरह से पी.एफ.टी. और प्रारम्भिक चिकित्सीय जाँच में योग्य अभ्यार्थियों की चयन सूची तैयार की जाएगी, जो उपलब्ध रिक्तियों पर निर्भर करेगी। अभ्यार्थी का चयन सभी भारतीय मेरिट के आधार पर की जायेगी। अभ्यार्थियों की चयन सूची वेबसाइट www.joinindiannavy.gov.in पर प्रदर्शित की जाएगी। सभी चयनित अभ्यार्थियों को अंतिम चिकित्सा परीक्षा के लिए भा. नौ. पो. चिल्का में रिपोर्ट करना होगा। अगर अभ्यार्थी अंतिम चिकित्सा परीक्षा के लिए काल-अप-लेटर में दिये गए तिथि और समय पर रिपोर्ट नहीं कर पाया, तो अभ्यार्थी का वर्तमान चयन निरस्त कर दिया जायेगा। परन्तु भर्ती, भा. नौ. पो. चिल्का में मेडिकल फिटनेस के आधार पर ही होगी। अंतिम चिकित्सा परीक्षा के लिए काल-अप-लेटर अभ्यार्थियों के पंजीकृत ई-मेल पते पर अपलोड किए जायेंगे, डाक द्वारा नहीं भेजे जायेंगे।

23.  Documents for AA: All original certificates, mark sheets, Domicile certificate and NCC certificate (if held) are to be produced at the time of examination. If the details provided in “online application” are not matching with original documents, the candidature will be cancelled.
