Military Nursing Service Recruitment 2025:– The Directorate General of Medical Services (DGMS) has released a notification for admission to 4 year B Sc. (Nursing) Course 2025. Interested female candidates can apply online on the official website of Indian Army recruitment – joinindianarmy.nic.in. On successful completion of 4 years of B Sc (Nursing) training, the women candidates will be given Permanent/Short Service Commission in the Military Nursing Service.

Military Nursing Service (MNS) Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:- Candidates must have passed in the first attempt, Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or equivalent (12 Years schooling) examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology) and English with not less than 50% aggregate marks as a regular student from a Statutory/ Recognized Board/ University/ Examination Body. Candidates who will be appearing for final year of qualifying examination during the current academic session may also apply provisionally.

MNS शैक्षिक योग्यता:- उम्मीदवारों को पहले प्रयास में, वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक परीक्षा (10 + 2) या समकक्ष (12 वर्ष की स्कूली शिक्षा) परीक्षा में फिजिक्स, केमिस्ट्री, बायोलॉजी (बॉटनी और जूलॉजी) और अंग्रेजी में 50% से कम अंकों के साथ एक सांविधिक / मान्यता प्राप्त बोर्ड / विश्वविद्यालय / परीक्षा निकाय से नियमित छात्र के रूप में उत्तीर्ण होना चाहिए।  वे उम्मीदवार जो वर्तमान शैक्षणिक सत्र के दौरान अर्हक परीक्षा के अंतिम वर्ष में उपस्थित होंगे, वे अनंतिम रूप से भी आवेदन कर सकते हैं।

Physical Standards MNS:– Medical fitness will be assessed as per Military Standards by Military Authorities. X-Ray examination of Chest and USG (of abdomen) will be done. The physical fitness of selected candidates will finally be determined by a Medical Board under arrangement made by the office of DGAFMS. Candidates pregnant at the time of medical examination and joining for commission will be rejected being temporarily medically unfit.

शारीरिक मानक MNS:- सैन्य अधिकारियों द्वारा चिकित्सा मानकों का आकलन सैन्य मानकों के अनुसार किया जाएगा।चेस्ट और यूएसजी (पेट के) की एक्स-रे परीक्षा होगी।चयनित उम्मीदवारों की शारीरिक योग्यता अंततः मेडिकल बोर्ड द्वारा DGAFMS के कार्यालय द्वारा की गई व्यवस्था के तहत निर्धारित की जाएगी।चिकित्सा परीक्षा के समय और आयोग में शामिल होने के लिए गर्भवती होने वाले उम्मीदवारों को अस्थायी रूप से चिकित्सकीय रूप से अनफिट बताया जा रहा है।

MNS Age Limit:- Candidate must be Born between 01 Oct 1997 and 30 Sep 2005 (both days inclusive).

MNS आयु सीमा:- उम्मीदवार का जन्म 01 अक्टूबर 1997 और 30 सितंबर 2005 (दोनों दिन सम्मिलित) के बीच होना चाहिए।

Marital Status MNS:- Candidates should be Single/Married/Divorcee or otherwise legally separated /Widow.

वैवाहिक स्थिति MNS:- उम्मीदवारों को एकल / विवाहित / तलाकशुदा या अन्यथा कानूनी रूप से अलग / विधवा होना चाहिए।

Interview & Medical Examination:- Merit listed candidates of Online Computer Based Examination will appear for interview & medical examination at selected centers. Candidates declared FIT/UNFIT in medical examination will be informed about their medical status. Including the procedure of requesting for APPEAL/REVIEW MEDICAL BOARD by the President of the Selection Medical Board.

साक्षात्कार और चिकित्सा परीक्षा: – ऑनलाइन कंप्यूटर आधारित परीक्षा के मेरिट सूचीबद्ध उम्मीदवारों चयनित केंद्रों पर साक्षात्कार और चिकित्सा परीक्षा के लिए दिखाई देंगे। चिकित्सा परीक्षा में FIT / UNFIT घोषित उम्मीदवारों को उनकी चिकित्सा स्थिति के बारे में सूचित किया जाएगा। जिसमें चयन चिकित्सा बोर्ड के अध्यक्ष द्वारा APPEAL / REVIEW चिकित्सा बोर्ड के लिए अनुरोध करने की प्रक्रिया शामिल है।

Written Examination Centers:- The candidates are required to choose the examination center from the list of centers provided while filling the online application form. Allotment of centers will be on “first apply-first allot” basis. If the number of candidates is inadequate/more than the capacity of a center, the candidates opting for that center will be allotted any other center as per the administrative feasibility. No correspondence/ requests regarding change of center from any candidate will be accepted.

लिखित परीक्षा केंद्र:- उम्मीदवारों को ऑनलाइन आवेदन फॉर्म भरते समय प्रदान किए गए केंद्रों की सूची से परीक्षा केंद्र का चयन करना आवश्यक है। केंद्रों का आवंटन “पहले आवेदन-प्रथम आवंटन” के आधार पर होगा। यदि किसी केंद्र की क्षमता से अधिक उम्मीदवारों की संख्या अपर्याप्त / अधिक है, तो उस केंद्र के लिए चयन करने वाले उम्मीदवारों को प्रशासनिक व्यवहार्यता के अनुसार किसी अन्य केंद्र को आवंटित किया जाएगा। किसी भी उम्मीदवार से केंद्र परिवर्तन के संबंध में कोई पत्राचार / अनुरोध स्वीकार नहीं किया जाएगा।

How to Apply for MNS:- Applications are invited from FEMALE CANDIDATES only for admission to 4 years B.Sc (Nursing) Course 2025. On successful completion of Nursing Training (4 years), the candidates will be granted Permanent / Short Service Commission in the Military Nursing Service, under the Terms and Conditions laid down for grant of such Commission.

MNS Selection Process:- Applicants who are screened for applicability/eligibility are being selected as per organization policy/rules depending on the basis of their performance in Written test, Interview & Medical Examination.

MNS चयन प्रक्रिया:- प्रयोज्यता / पात्रता के लिए आवेदन करने वाले आवेदकों को लिखित परीक्षा, साक्षात्कार और चिकित्सा परीक्षा में उनके प्रदर्शन के आधार पर संगठन नीति / नियमों के अनुसार चुना जायेगा।

Computer Based Examination (CBE)

a)- Eligible applicants will be called for an objective type Computer Based Examination (CBE) of 150 marks for 90 minutes duration likely to be held 2025. योग्य आवेदकों को 2025 में होने की संभावना है। 90 मिनट की अवधि के लिए 150 अंकों के एक वस्तुनिष्ठ प्रकार के कंप्यूटर आधारित परीक्षा (CBE) के लिए बुलाया जाएगा।

b)- Candidates are given 90 minutes time to complete 150 questions for an objective type Computer Based Examination (CBE) covering the subjects General English, Biology, Physics, Chemistry and General Intelligence. सामान्य अंग्रेजी, जीव विज्ञान, भौतिक विज्ञान, रसायन विज्ञान और जनरल इंटेलिजेंस विषयों को शामिल करते हुए एक ऑब्जेक्टिव टाइप कंप्यूटर आधारित परीक्षा (CBE) के लिए 150 प्रश्नों को पूरा करने के लिए उम्मीदवारों को 90 मिनट का समय दिया जाता है।

c)- On the basis of Computer Based Examination (CBE) merit, candidates will be called for an interview. कंप्यूटर आधारित परीक्षा (CBE) मेरिट के आधार पर, उम्मीदवारों को साक्षात्कार के लिए बुलाया जाएगा।

MNS Exam Pattern:- There will be objective type questions on Physics, Chemistry, General Intelligence, Biology and General English. The duration of the test is 1 hour and 30 minutes.

MNS परीक्षा पैटर्न:– इसमें फिजिक्स, केमिस्ट्री, जनरल इंटेलिजेंस, बायोलॉजी और जनरल इंग्लिश पर ऑब्जेक्टिव टाइप प्रश्न होंगे। परीक्षण की अवधि 1 घंटे और 30 मिनट है।

General English:- Synonyms, Homonyms, Antonyms, Spot the error, Fill in the blanks, Spellings, Detecting Mis-spelt words, Idioms and phrases, One word substitutions, Shuffling of sentence parts, Shuffling of Sentences in a passage, Improvement, Close passage, Comprehension passage.

Final Selection:- Final selection will be based on the combined merit of Online Computer Based Examination & Interview, subject to medical fitness of the candidate, choice & vacancy in each College.

अंतिम चयन:- अंतिम चयन प्रत्येक कॉलेज में उम्मीदवार की मेडिकल फिटनेस, पसंद और रिक्ति के अधीन ऑनलाइन कंप्यूटर आधारित परीक्षा और साक्षात्कार की संयुक्त योग्यता के आधार पर होगा।

Employability:- Candidates selected for grant of SSC in the MNS will be liable to serve for five years extendable to a total tenure of fourteen (5+5+4) years, anywhere in India in the same way as Military Nursing Service (Regular) Officers of the Armed Forces (Army, Navy and Air Force). No request will be entertained on choice of posting through any means in the first five years of service.

रोजगार:- MNS में SSC के अनुदान के लिए चुने गए उम्मीदवारों को चौदह (5 + 5 + 4) वर्षों के कुल कार्यकाल के लिए पांच साल तक सेवा करने के लिए उत्तरदायी होगा, भारत में कहीं भी सैन्य नर्सिंग सेवा (नियमित) के अधिकारियों के समान। सेवा के पहले पांच वर्षों में किसी भी माध्यम से पोस्ट करने के विकल्प पर कोई अनुरोध नहीं किया जाएगा।

Emoluments:- On completion of the pre-commissioning formalities, the candidates will be granted the rank of Lieutenant with the monthly Basic Pay of Rs 15,600 + Grade Pay Rs 5,400/- + Military Service Pay- Rs 4,200/- + DA and other Allowance as per prevailing rates. Entitled ration, accommodation and allied facilities will also be offered.

परिलब्धियां:- पूर्व-कमीशन औपचारिकताओं के पूरा होने पर, उम्मीदवारों को 15,600 रुपये के मासिक मूल वेतन के साथ लेफ्टिनेंट का पद दिया जाएगा + ग्रेड वेतन रु 5,400 / – + सैन्य सेवा वेतन- 4,200 / – + डीए और अन्य भत्ते प्रचलित के अनुसार दरें। राशन, आवास और संबद्ध सुविधाएं भी प्रदान की जाएंगी।
