1290-1320 ADKhilji Dynasty, Alauddin KhiljiWhen the rulers of the Khilji dynasty came to do business here in the 14th century, they fought with the local rulers. Vijetha SultanpurVijetha located in Sultanpur is a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. It is believed that Hanuman killed Kalnemi demon at this place. When Hanuman went to take Sanjeevani booti to save Lakshmana's life, Kalmani demon sent by Ravana tried to stop his path. At that time Hanuman ji killed Kalnemi demon.

Vijethuva Mahaviran SultanpurVijethuva Mahaviran located in Sultanpur is a famous temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. It is believed that this is the place where Lord Hanuman, the Pawanaputra, killed the demon named "Kalanemi", the maternal uncle of Dashainan Ravana. Satthin Sharif dhaam SultanpurEvery year a ten-day Urs is organized here. Shah Abdul Latif and his contemporary Baba Madari Shah were famous fakirs of the time. Here the tomb of Shah Abdul Latif is situated on the banks of river Gomti.
Gorishankar Dham SultanpurThere is a picturesque Shiva temple situated on the banks of river Gomti in the midst of the Shahpur forest of Chanda. Every year on Mahashivratri, a big fair is organized here, where people from nearby districts also come, it is believed that whoever comes here with respect and asks for anything, their wish is fulfilled. Presently, this place has been beautified and now declared as a tourist destination. Here various types of swings have also been established in the park for the children.
Karia Bazhana SultanpurThis famous place is located just 25 kilometers from the district headquarters Sultanpur. Here is the famous temple of Kariya Baba and Pawanputra Hanuman ji. People from far away come to perform the shaving of their children at this famous place of Sultanpur. It is believed that Kariya Baba definitely fulfills the wishes that people ask with a sincere heart. Kariya Baba also hosts 6 grand fairs every year.
Bilwai SultanpurBilwai is a town located at the western end of Sultanpur district. There is a grand temple of Lord Shiva here.
