Jharsuguda, Odisha Gurkaha Police Bharti 2020: Notification for Recruitment of Indian and Nepal Gurkha Sepahi in Special Armed Police of Odisha State of India has issued to fill up vacancies of Gurkha Sepoy. Details of vacancies, Eligibility Criteria, Education Qualification, Physical Standard and Selection Process are as under:

Elligibility Criteria for Recruitment of Gurkha Police in OSAP

Age Limit: Age limit of the candidate should be between 18 – 25 years as on 01.01.2017. The age relaxation will be applicable to Ex-Army Personnel as per existing rules.

Education Qualification: Candidate should have passed Class VII or equivalent exam from any recognized Boards or Institutions. Candidates who have passed HSC or equivalent exam will be given preference. Marks Grading system will be followed according to qualification and division posses by the candidate.

Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Education Marks Grading System, Physical Standard, Physical Efficiency Test, Viva Test and Medical Test.

How to Apply: Candidates who with to join Odisha Specialo Armed Police may submit their application along with copy of relevant documents to “The Commandant, OSAP 2nd Battalion, Jharsuguda, PO-OMP line, PS/Dist – Jharsuguda Odisha India, Pin – 768204.”

Viva-Voce:  10 Marks will be awarded to the candidates for viva voce test. Viva Voce Test will be conducted the Selection Board for the  candidates who qualify in the Physical Efficiency Test.

Documents: Copy of following documents are required to be attached in the application form by the candidates.

Copy of Documents Required for Indian Gurkhas:

• Education Certificate.
• Residential certificate issued by D.M./A.D.M./Tahasildar.
• Employment Exchange Regd. Card.
• Sports Certificate.
• Character Certificate.
• Certificate of a bonafide Indian Gurkha from a recognized Organisation.
• 3 Numbers recent passport size photographs with full signature of the candidates.

Copy of Documents Required By Nepal Gurkhas

• For Gurkhas of Nepal.
• Education Certificate.
• Citizenship / Nagarik Praman Patra issued by C.D.O. District Headquarters.
• Sports Certificate.
• Character certificate issued from (Gram Bikash Samiti).
• 3 Numbers recent passport size photographs with full signature of the candidates in the front.
