Arunachal Pradesh Post Office Jobs for 10th, 12th & BA Pass job in Postal Circle Department
Arunachal Pradesh Postal Circle Sports Quota Bharti Notification 2024: Indian postal circle is conducting MTS, Shorting Assistant vacancies to fill up a total of 125 vacancies as per rules. The written test is tentatively scheduled from 2024 onward. The eligibility criteria and application form as well as recruitment rules are also available on www.indiapost.gov.in recruitment rules.
Arunachal Pradesh Postal Circle Assistant Postman & MTS Recruitment Posts
Recruitment of eligible sportsperson will be made to the following posts under the Sports Quota:-
(a) Postal /Sorting Assistant in Post Offices or Railway Mail Offices
(b) Postman in Post Offices
(c) MTS in Post Offices or Railway Mail Offices

Salary: Pay and allowances for appointment into the post office department as a sportsman are given in the table below:-

Arunachal Pradesh Circle Assistant Postman & MTS Bharti Vacancy Position

Eligibility Criteria Postal Recruitment 2024
Arunachal Pradesh Postal Circle Sports Quota Bharti Probation and Training
Probation: The candidates selected will be appointed and will be on probation as per the rules.
Training: The training will be imparted to the selected candidates as prescribed.
Arunachal Pradesh Postal Circle Sports Quota Bharti Education qualification
(i) Postal /Sorting Assistant Education Qualification:-
- Must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University. In case of the candidate possesses equivalent educational qualifications, such candidates shall also produce a relevant equivalence certificate from the concerned authorities at the time of submission of the documents. However, the final decision regarding the selection of such candidates will be taken by the concerned User Departments/Appointing Authorities.
- The candidates will be required to furnish a Basic Computer Training Certificate from a recognised computer training institute before issuance of the appointment letter. Computer Training Certificates from Central Government/State Government/University/Boards etc. Will also be acceptable for this purpose. This requirement of the Basic Computer Knowledge Certificate shall be relaxable in cases where a candidate has studied computer as a subject in matriculation or Class XII or Higher educational qualification and in such cases, a separate certificate will not be insisted upon.

(ii) Postman Education Qualification:-
- 12th standard pass from a recognized Board.

- Knowledge of Local Language (i.e. Bengali, Manipuri, English/Hindi). The candidate should have studied the local language at least up to the 10th standard.
- The candidates will be required to furnish a certificate of Basic Computer Training from a recognized Computer training institute before issuance of the appointment letter. Computer Training Certificates from the Central Government/State Government/University/Boards etc. will also be acceptable for this purpose. This requirement of Basic Computer Knowledge is relaxable in cases where a candidate has studied Computer as a subject in matriculation or Class XII or Higher educational qualification and in such cases, a separate certificate will not be insisted upon.
- The person appointed to the post of Postman shall acquire a driving licence to drive a two-wheeler three-wheeler or light motor vehicle within two years from the date of his appointment. However, persons with disabilities shall be exempted from the requirement of a driving licence.
- A candidate not having a valid driving license at the time of appointment shall not earn a periodical increment in pay till the production of such license or for five years from the date of appointment whichever is earlier and after the production of such license or expiry of such five years period, the pay shall be restored prospectively to the level pay would have reached had the periodical increment in pay was not withheld and no arrears of pay shall be paid for the intervening period.

(iii) Postal MTS Education Qualification (Multitasking Staff):-
- 10th standard pass from a recognized Board.
- Knowledge of Local Language (i.e. Bengali, Manipuri, English/Hindi). The candidate should have studied the local language at least up to the 10th standard.

Sports Qualification (Eligibility Criteria)
The candidates with the following qualifications shall be considered meritorious for the purpose of recruitment under the sports quota –
(a) Sportsmen who have represented a State or the Country in the National or International competition in any of the games/sports.
(b) Sportsmen who have represented their University in the Inter-University tournaments conducted by the Inter-University Sports Boards in any of the games/sports.
(c) Sportsmen who have represented the State Schools Teams in the National games/sports for schools conducted by the All India School Games Federation in any of the games/sports.
(d) Sportsmen who have been awarded National Awards in Physical Efficiency under the National Physical Efficiency Drive.

Arunachal Pradesh Postal Circle Sports Quota Recruitment Mode Of Payment
- The candidate has to credit Rs 100 (one hundred only) through e-payment at any of the computerised post offices in India using the Challan Form provided along with this notification specifying “DIRECT RECRUITMENT OF MERITORIOUS SPORTSPERSONS TO POSTAL ASSISTANT/SORTING ASSISTANT, POSTMAN AND MTS (Erstwhile Group/Ds) CADRE UNDER SPORTS QUOTA IN NORTHEAST POSTAL CIRCLE”
- Challan for payment of fees at the Post Office is appended as Appendix IV to the application form which may be filled up and handed over to the Post Office for a general fee paid receipt.
- The original receipt thereof should be attached/pasted to the application. (as against Column 13).
- The application fee paid through any other mode or with a lesser amount will not be accepted & all such applications will be summarily rejected.
- The National e-biller ID created by this office for payment of the application fee at the Post Office is 0000070117.
- Fees once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
