Kerala PSC Police Constable Recruitment Notification 2025: Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) is inviting applications for 199 Police Constables posts. Interested candidates can apply through the official website, keralapsc.gov.in.

Kerala Police Constable Educational Qualification

• Education Qualification required for Kerala State Police is SSLC- CBSE, SSLC-ICSE, SSLC-SSC, SSLC- State Board or equivalent.

Note: No relaxation in qualification will be allowed for any special category.

• Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of the qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant government order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification, then only such qualification shall be treated as equivalent to the prescribed qualification concerned.

Kerala Police Constable Physical Qualification

Physical Standard for Kerala Constable: PST for Constable Kerala State Police Constable Must be physically fit and should possess the following minimum physical standards as prescribed below

(i) Height – 167cm

(i) Chest – 81 cms with a minimum expansion of 5 cms.

Note: No relaxation in physical measurement will be allowed for any special category.

• Must be free from apparent physical defects like knock-knee, flat foot, varicose veins, bow legs, deformed limbs, irregular and protruding teeth, defective speech and hearing.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Endurance Test for Kerala Constable

Endurance Test (Qualifying Test): All the candidates applying will involve a road run of 5 km, which will be completed within 25 minutes.

Written Test/OMR Test: Marks obtained in the written/OMR test will be given a weightage of 25% in the ranking for the selection process subject to such minimum qualifying marks as may be prescribed by the Board depending on overall performance.

Physical Efficiency Test: The Marks obtained for the PET will be given a weightage of 75% in the ranking for the selection process.

Note: Physical Measurements of the candidates will be taken prior to the Endurance Test/Physical Efficiency Test.

STANDARD OF PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY

PET for Kerala Police Constable Recruitment: In PET Running, Long Jump, High Jump, and Shot Put details are given as under:-

Kerala Police Constable Running

(a)  Race: All candidates have to qualify 1500 meters Click Here

(b)  Running for Ex-Servicemen: No Relaxation.

Kerala Police Constable Jump

(a)  Long Jump: All candidates have to qualify for 5.57 meters long jump in three chances.

OR

(b)  High Jump: All candidates have to qualify for a high jump of 1.3 meters in three chances.

Shot Put

(a) All candidates must able to throw 7.264 Kg Gola/Shot put 6.09 meters distance in three chances.

Notice Kerala Constable: For further selection process all candidates are required to qualify in all three events. Upon completion of the Physical Efficiency Test, Physical Standard Test (PST) Height, Chest, and Weight will be carried out by Kerala State Police Constable Recruiting Authorities.

For General & OBC: No application fee is required.

For SC/ST/CAT-01 & Tribal candidates: No application fee is required.
