Income Tax  Inspector, TA &   Recruitment 2021: Male & Female Applications are invited from the meritorious sportsperson fulfilling the eligibility criteria as per particulars given below for appointment to the posts of Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS), Tax Assistant (TA) and Inspector of Income Tax (IIT),  in Income Tax Department, UP (East) Region.

Sports Quota Recruitment Notification 2021: The willing and eligible candidates can submit their application form by Registered post only, as per Annexure-II of the Notification on or before 30.09.2021 (08.10.2021) for candidates domiciled in North Eastern States, Andaman Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Jammu & Kashmir, Kerala), to the Income Tax Officer (Hq)(Admn), Office of the Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, UP(East), Aaykar Bhawan, 5, Ashok Marg, Lucknow-226001.

Eligibility Criteria Income Tax Recruitment 2021

Age Limit: For recruitment in Income Tax Dept age limit conditions for Malti Tasking Staff (MTS), Tax Assistant and Inspector of Income Tax is as under:-

  • For Inspector of Income Tax : 18 to 30 years of age
  • For Tax Assistant:  18 to 27 years of age
  • For Tax Assistant:  18 to 27 years of age

Relaxation in age limit: Age limit relaxation in Income Tax Department under Sports Quota Recruitment is as under:-

  • The upper age limit is relaxed up to a maximum of 5 years for Unreserved & OBC Candidates.
  • The upper age limit is relaxed up to a maximum of 10 years for SC & ST Candidates.

Education Qualification Eligibility: Education qualification standard  for recruitment in  Income Tax department IT Inspector, MTS & Tax Assistant as under:-

Inspector of Income Tax: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or equivalent.

Tax Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree and Data Entry speed of 8000 key depressions per hour.

Multi Tasking Staff: 10th/ Hight School/ Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized University /Board.

Salary: Monthly payment in Income Tax Deaprtment for the post of MTS, Tax Assistant and Inspector will be as under:-

  • Inspector of Income Tax – Pay level-7 (Rs.44900 to Rs 142400)
  • Tax Assistant  Pay level-4 –  (Rs.25500 to Rs 81100)
  • Multi-Tasking Staff 12 Pay level-l (Rs 18000 to Rs 56900)

UP(EAST). LUCKNOW REGION

Sports Eligibility

Eligibility Conditions: For recruitment in Income Tax Department under sports quota appointment can be made of a sportsperson considered meritorious with reference to the following criteria:-

Sportspersons having represented:-

(a) Sportsmen/ sportswomen having represented a State or the Country in a National or International Competition In any of the games/sports as mentioned in List of games and sports given below for recruitment in Income Tax Deptt.

OR

(b) Sportsmen/ sportswomen having represented their University in the Inter-University Tournaments conducted by the Inter-University Sports Board in any of the games/sports as mentioned in in List of games and sports given below for recruitment in Income Tax Deptt.

OR

(c) Sportsmen/ sportswomen having represented the State Schools Team in the National Sports/Games for schools conducted by All India School Games Federation in any of the games/sports as mentioned in List of games and sports given below for recruitment in Income Tax Deptt.

OR

(d) Sportsperson who has been awarded National Awards in Physical Efficiency under National Physical Efficiency Drive.

Note: The merit of sportspersons men & women, who fulfill the aforesaid eligibility conditions, shall be considered/ decided in the order of preference given above. Further, priority would be given to current players i.e. who have represented in international and national level in the last three years in tournaments of the recognized sports federation.

NOTE: The best of three performances in the Calendar Year (in the descending order) 2020, 2019,2018,2017 and 2016 shall be considered for evaluation.

Evidence in Support of Merit in Sports Events/ Games

Sports Certificate Issuing Authority: Only certificates awarded by the authorities mentioned hereunder will be taken into account as evidence in support of having participated in competitions in any of the above Sports events/Games while considering eligibility of the applicant. A candidate who cannot produce self-attested copies of at least one certificate issued by one of the authorities mentioned here under along with application need not apply.

Physical Efficiency Drive Secretary or other Officer in overall charge of Physical Efficiency in the Ministry of Education and Social Welfare, Government of India.

Selection Procedure Income Tax Sports Candidates Recruitment

Selection Process: Subject to fulfilling of the qualification against Sl. No. 02 above, the applications shall be scrutinized and suitable candidates will be short listed for further selection procedure. For selection, the short listed candidate will be required to appear for interview and if further required, the players may be required to undergo ground/proficiency test also.

Notice: Success in the above test confers no right to appointment unless the Department is satisfied after such enquiry as may be considered necessary that the candidate is suitable in all respect for appointment to the post.

List of Documents Required: Candidates applying for the post of multi tasking staff, tax assistant, income tax inspector for recruitment in Income Tax Department Lucknow UP East  shall enclose attested copies of the following certificates:-
