West Bengal Sub Inspector Education Qualification

• Candidates must have passed the Madhyamik Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent.

• Applicant should have the ability to read, write and speak in Bengali/Nepali.

• Knowledge of Bengali will be tested for candidates whose mother tongue is other than Bengali/Nepali at the time of the Personality Test. Candidature of the candidates with average and/or poor performance in the knowledge of Bengali Test shall be cancelled.

• Candidates must possess sound health and the ability to undertake extensive tours in rural areas of West Bengal.

WB Sub Inspector Age Limit

• The minimum age of the candidate for West Bengal Police Sub Inspector should be 18 years and the maximum age should be 40 years.

WB Police SI Age Relaxation

• Some categories are given relaxation in the upper age limit as follows:
