About Rajasthan Police Written Exam

Rajasthan Police Constable Exam will be held on 2023. Candidates have to report at exam center as per details given in the Rajasthan Police Recruitment Written Examination Admit Card.

Rajasthan Police Constable Selection Process

Selection Procedure for Rajasthan Police Constable General Duty, Constable Driver,  Constable Band, Constable Horse Rider,  Constable Dog Squad candidates  will have to go through the following selection process steps.

• Step-1: Submission of Online Application

• Step-2: Written Examination

• Step-3: Physical Standard Test/Physical Measurement Test

• Step-4: Physical Efficiency Test/Physical Fitness Test

Written Examination Rajasthan Police Constable

Exam Pattern :- Rajasthan Police Constable Exam Pattern will be as under:

Type of Questions: The written test will be multiple choice objective type.
Written Test Marks:There will be a composite paper of three parts carrying total 75 marks.
Number of Questions:There will be Question of 120 Objective Type.
Exam Duration: The Time Duration of Exam will be 02 Hours.
Minus Marking: There shall be a negative marking of 1/4.

Qualifying Marks: Qualifying marks in written test in Part A, Part B, Part C separately for Rajasthan Police Constable Recruitment will be as under:-

General/OBC Candidates: 40% Qualifying Marks
SC/ST Candidates: 36% Qualifying Marks
SC/ST Candidates of Tribal Sub Plan Area: 30% Qualifying Marks
Saharia Candidates of Baran Dist: 25% Qualifying Marks

Part-A 30 Marks: Reasoning and Logical Ability.

Part-B 15 Marks: General Knowledge, General Science, Social Science and Current Affairs.

Part-C 30 Marks: History, Culture, Art, Geography, Economy and Polity etc. of Rajasthan.

Proficiency Test/Practical Test

Proficiency Test or practical test for the post of Constable GD/ Driver/ Band/Horse Rider/ Dog Squad for recruitment in Rajasthan Police will be as under:

Proficiency Test for Constable Drivers

Candidates who have applied for the posts of Constable (Driver) for recruitment in Rajasthan Police and they have qualified in written examination and physical efficiency test will be required to undergo proficiency test carrying 15 Marks to judge their suitability for the post of drivers. Details of proficiency test and practical tests will be cover the following subjects about vehicle driving, mechanical knowledge and vehicle maintenance:-

• Stop Test- 2 Marks
• Steering Test- 2 Marks
• Slalom Test – 4 Marks
• Driving of Heavy Vehicles (along with possession of Heavy Vehicle Driving license) 4 Marks
• Removing three simple mechanical and electrical faults in the vehicle 3 Marks

Causes of Disqualifying Constable Drivers Candidate:

• Basic vehicle operation is not demonstrated smoothly.
• The driver cannot demonstrate control of the vehicle when driving and braking.
• The driver hits the obstacle(s).
• The driver cannot pass the slalom circuit.
• Candidates will be disqualified for further recruitment process if they fail in proficiency test.

Constable Band: 

Candidate for the post of Constable Band will be subjected to technical information related to Bands, maintenance and look after of bands items and music related test for 15 Marks.

Constable Horse Rider: 

Candidate for the post of Constable Horse Rider will be subjected to technical information relating to look after, maintenance and horse health related equations for 15 Marks.

Constable Dog Squad: 

Candidate for the post of Constable Dog Squad will be subjected to technical information relating to look after, maintenance and dog health related equations for 15 Marks.

Special Qualification Marks for Rajasthan Police Bharti Constable:

NCC ‘C’ Certificate = 5 Marks

NCC ‘B’ Certificate = 3 Marks

NCC ‘A’ Certificate = 2 Marks

Rajasthan Police Home Guard

Continuous 3 years service in Border = 5 Marks

Continuous 2 years service in Border = 3 Marks

Continuous 1 years service in Border = 2 Marks
