Motor Mechanic selection process: Indian Army Motor Mechanic Recruitment selection process includes Written Examination (Common Enterence Exam), PFT, Physical Standard Test, Medical Test, Documentation, Merit List, Final Selection Result and dispatch of candidates as under:-
1. Written Examination: Motor Mechanic Testing knowledge in subjects like General Knowledge, Science, Mathematics, and English.
2. Physical Fitness Test (PFT): Physical Test for Motor Mechanic Includes a 1.6 km run, chin-ups, push-ups, and a 9-feet ditch jump.
3. Physical Standard Test: Physical Standard Test (PST) for Motor Mechanic includes Height, Weight, Chest of the candidates for enrollment in the army.

5. Documentation: On completion of CEE, PFT, PST and medical test documentation like Recruit Master Data Sheet (RMDS) and Medical Sheet of the motor mechanic candidates are prepared.
