CRPF Written Examination Test Details:
- CRPF conducts the written exam for 225 Marks
- Questions are objective type only.
- Negative marking is applicable in CRPF Eaxam
- Timing of CRPF Exam will be 2.30 hours.
- Language of Question Papper of CRPF will be in Hindi and English

Qualifying Marks CRPF
- General Category: 40% (80 Marks from 200)
- SC/ST/OBC Categories: 35% (70 Marks from 200)
CRPF Typing Test for Head Constable Post: The English Typing on the computer is required with the minimum speed of 35 words per minute. OR candidate can do the Hindi Typing with the minimum speed of 30 words per minute. 35 word per minute in English and 30 word per minute in Hindi refers to 10500 key depressions/hour in English and 9000 key depressions/hour in Hindi with the average of 5 key depressions for each word on the computer.
CRPF Steno Test for ASI vacancy: This Skill Test will also take place on the computer in which aspirant need to pass the following:
- Dictation of 10 Minutes at 80 words/minute.
- Transcription Time is 65 Minutes in Hindi and 50 Minutes in English.
CRPF medical test and physical standard test
- The Medical test is compulsory for all candidates .
- The female candidates need to go through the pregnancy test which is checked through the urine.
- All parts of the body of male candidates will be checked.
Female Chest Measurement: The chest measurement is not part of the selection procedure for female candidates, however they are expected to have well-developed breasts as mentioned in the official brochure.
Medical Examination CRPF Candidates Male & Female: For recruitment in CRPF candidates mus not have the following:-
- Knock knee
- Flat Foot
- Varicose veins
- Squint eyes
Tattoo Policy CRPF Recruitment
- Location of the tattoo must be the non-saluting hand i.e left arm only.
- A tattoo can be accepted only if it is placed on the inner area of the forearm.
- It is allowed neither on the right hand nor the dorsum of hands.
- The Size of tattoo must not be more than ¼th of the Hand or Elbow.
- If a candidate got the scar mark due to the tattoo removal surgery then he/she is eligible for the participation as long as it does not affect candidate’s physical performance.
