 Education Qualification 

• Candidate should be clear 10th qualification. 
• Candidate should have ITI Trade Certificate.

Education Qualification Eligibility for ITI Apprentice: Minimum educational qualification for the post of apprentice a candidate must have passed the 10th class exam or its equivalent (under 10+2) examination system with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate, from a recognized board and also possess National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training.

• Procedure for calculating %age of marks where cumulative grade point average (CGPA) is applicable.

• Example: Suppose a candidate has got CGPA of 7.4, First he/she will multiply 7.4 by 9.5 and his/her %age will come to 70.3 (i.e. 7.4 x 9.5).

• The in Column ‘Maximum marks in 10th class’ He/She should fill in 1000 marks.

• Similarly, in Column ‘Marks obtained in 10th class,’  he/she will put 700 marks.

• When marks are obtained by the candidate the matriculation is 70% & in ITI 80% the percentage of both examinations will be (70+80)/2=75%.
