Delhi Home Guard Notification 2024: Directorate General of Home Guards (DGHG), New Delhi has released the notification for the recruitment of Home Guard Vacancy for 10285 posts. Interested candidates can apply online for the Delhi Home Guard Vacancy from 24 January 2024 to 13 February 2024. Aspirants who want to apply for the Delhi Home Guard Vacancy under the DGHG can apply online at https://homeguard.delhi.gov.in.

Delhi Home Guard Eligibility Criteria: Eligibility criteria for recruitment of Delhi Police Home Guard will be as follows:-

• Citizen of India and Resident of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.

Residential Eligibility Criteria for Recruitment of Delhi Home Guard: Proof for resident of Delhi,  the candidate must possess any of the following:

(i) Valid Passport

(ii) Election Commission Photo I Card

(iii) Current and valid ration card bearing his name and photograph. If the ration card is without a photograph of the candidate, it is required to be supported by another identity proof bearing a photograph of the applicant.

(iv) Valid Driving License issued by Transport Dept. GNCT Delhi.

(v) Duly attested passbook of Public Sector Bank Account having photograph with a residential address in Delhi.

(vi) Certificate issued by competent/authorized Government authority of Revenue Department, GNCT Delhi.

Delhi HG Education Qualification: Candidates must have a 12th Pass/ Senior Secondary class (education qualification Ex-Service Man/Ex-CAPF personnel – 10th Pass) to be eligible to apply online for Delhi Home Guard Recruitment 2024.

Delhi Home Guard selection process: The selection of the candidates for Delhi Police Home Guard Recruitment 2024 includes the Physical Measurement Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Written Examination, Medical Examination, Documentation, Merit List, and Final Selection Result. Candidates who pass the PMT and PST tests will be eligible to participate in the Delhi Home Guard Written Examination for 2024.

1. Physical Standard Test: The Physical Standard Test (PST) or Physical Measurement Test (PMT) for Home Guard include the Height, Weight, and Chest of the candidates for enrollment in the Delhi Home Guard Vacancy.

2. Physical Fitness Test (PFT): Physical Fitness Test or Physical Efficiency Test for Delhi Homeguard Includes a 1600-meter run.

3. Written Examination: In the Delhi Home Guard Exam, questions are asked from subjects like General Knowledge, Mathematics, Hindi and English.

4. Medical Examination: To ensure the physical and medical standards of the candidates in Delhi Home Guard eligibility medical test is carried out. Candidates who do not qualify for the medical examination will not be selected.

5. Documentation: In this stage, the documents submitted by the selected candidates are scrutinized. This stage is meant to verify the eligibility and identity of the candidates.
